Our trip to the Micam fair in Milan is always the highlight of the season for us, and the latest journey did not disappoint. Another wonderful and inspiring trip to the world's largest shoe fair is behind us. We traveled there with our usual enthusiasm and great passion, aiming to find the most stunning summer novelties for you and visit the stands of our beloved trusted brands.
These hand-picked gems are finally here – both on Aleksanterinkatu and in our online store, and we can't wait to show them to you! It's wonderful to be able to offer you new arrivals whose creators we know and whose quality we can unreservedly trust.
The best part of the hustle and bustle of the exhibition halls is definitely the genuine encounters. It was wonderful to see familiar faces from over the years, and it was at least as exciting to discover new manufacturers with whom we clicked from the very first moment. Now we are eagerly anticipating how you will receive these new arrivals!
It is a matter of heart for us to be transparent about where our products come from. For us, a beautiful exterior is not enough; we want to know the materials, manufacturing methods, and roots of each product thoroughly. These new partners wonderfully demonstrated how quality and values go hand in hand, and their way of operating exceeded all our expectations. We do this work with great passion, and it is a privilege to collaborate with genuine people and their wonderful stories.
The most exciting find at the fair was undoubtedly the Dutch Babouche Lifestyle. We fell in love at first sight – this is a company whose values and philosophy seem to perfectly align with our own.
Although the brand was founded only in 2018, it has quickly become a favorite, and we are not at all surprised why. The shoes are handmade from high-quality Italian leathers, and the result is luxury at its best. However, Babouche has one feature that stands above the rest: the selection extends up to size 45, which means we can offer the opportunity to order stunning sparkle for every woman, regardless of shoe size.
All shoes are clearly made with love to withstand time and wear. Babouche's skill in picking trends and transforming them into quality craftsmanship is precisely the honest fashion we want to bring to you.

Trend Review for Summer 2026
The fair once again provided direction for summer trends, and this year, joy of life, practicality, and a new kind of relaxed luxury particularly shone. Walking through the exhibition halls in Milan is always a fireworks display for the senses; one must filter out the gems from the vast offerings that stand the test of time, yet still bring freshness to the wardrobe.
This summer's fashion feels exceptionally comforting and easy to approach. It doesn't force us into molds but allows room to play with colors, appreciate quality materials, and dress in a way that serves everyday life.
Bold and surprising color combinations: Contrasts are now being combined, "Toybox colors" like Lego blue and duckling yellow, bring a touch of playfulness and joy.
